Abstract: Both the effective phase velocity and the group velocity of the surface elementary excitations (SEEs), namely quantized capillary waves or ripplons are shown in dependence on the wavenumber k. For comparison, the dispersion relation for a free 4He–atom is also shown. The existence possibilities of three non-dispersive Zakharenko waves are shown. The effective masses of the SEEs are also drawn in dependence on the wavenumber k. Quantum systems in which the nondispersive Zakharenko waves can be found are also discussed
